Mom Ditched Us

So, mom decided last weekend to ditch Epa and I and go to the shelter's open house and play with other cats (how dare she because she already does that on Mondays).  Any who, I asked her to take some photos of the cats there to share as a shelter of the week sort of thing because I've been slacking on doing that.  Here are some of my favorites she took.

 I told mom don't even think about it, there is no way in hell I would use one.

 This cat is heavier than me by the way.  Mom should consider herself lucky I'm under 16 pounds.

 The tuxedo actually stayed at our place for a few days.  She hated me though.. hrmph

Being a Slacker

I have been slacking on posting lately.  Blame mom.  She's been hogging the computer.  Any who, I don't have any topics to really discuss right now.  Might think of something this weekend.  We shall see.

Cat Of The Week

I decided to introduce a weekly topic here.  As you may recall from some of my past posts, I was adopted by mommy from a no-kill shelter, Furkids to be specific.  Since they were awesome in taking care of me for most of my life, I decided to help some of the fellow furkitties there.  Here, I will highlight a cat or group of cats every week (or every other week depending how things go) that are up for adoption there.  For more information on them, please click on the link above for Furkids website where you can read their bios AND fill out an adoption application in order to make your life more fun because, you know, that's what we cats do.

Chippewa (male), Inca (female), and Aztec (male) are siblings who love to play with each other and humans.  Aztec is so active, mommy had to get someone to hold him in order to take his picture for here.

One month update

So it's been about a month since my diet began. Mom decided it was time to weigh me again.  The scale lied and made mom really confused.  Turns out I gained almost half a pound this month.  I looked at mom and told her not to worry, just play with me a little more and stop yelling at me when I chase Epa everywhere because that counts as exercise too.

Previous weight: 15.5 pounds

Current weight: 15.9 pounds

Weight needed to be loss: 3.4 pounds

Black Cat Appreciation Day - TODAY

Today was Black Cat Appreciation Day.  I hope all my fellow black cats felt some appreciation today.  Mom gave me some rare treats :)
